Role Overview
As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in managing on-site technical and engineering aspects of our projects. You will work closely with site and project management teams to ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards, within programme and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Set out, level and survey the site using modern instruments
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Monitor site progress and quality in accordance with technical designs and construction regulations
- Assist in managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, QA documentation and material deliveries
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and liaise with design and project teams
- Conduct regular inspections and implement quality control measures
- Support the preparation of progress reports and attend site meetings
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years’ site-based experience in construction or civil engineering
- Proficient in setting out using Total Station/GPS and other surveying equipment
- Solid understanding of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and site management
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Full, clean driving licence
